Dream Bedroom

I’m finally done my exams (yay me!) and my winter holidays are here! I’m super excited, not only to have some time away from school, but to redo my room! I’ve wanted to take on this project for the last four years, and it’s finally happening this winter break. My room is tiny, but I’m going to try to do what I can with it; change up the dresser, add some shelving, and hang some of my oil paintings on the wall to finally personalize it. It should be a lot of fun.

If I had a giant bedroom though, this is what I would want it to look like. Fresh, cool, crisp, this room embodies what I would want my room to feel like. I love white with forest green walls. The wood grounds the colours and gives just the right touch of warmth. There is something so calming about this space.

    I've been dreaming of a white bedroom with soft white sheets and drapes...something really sweet and romantic. I love that 2nd picture.

    I love the calming color scheme that you picked ... Don't forget to post pics once you finally fix your room? Excited for you! It's soooo nice to have your own customized space at home, no matter what size!

    I agree with you, the forest green is just gorgeous. And the white with it is so crisp and summery/spring-y. Perfection. It feels like a breath of fresh air, does it not?!!

    that bedroom looks like heaven! its the kind of thing i went for earlier this year.. if only it was easier to keep it tidy.. despite the lovely cool colours it still looks like a bomb site!

    Just in time! We're moving into a new flat next year and until now I still don't know what colors to paint the bedrooms and how to arrange it and maximize the space. Your post just gave me some ideas on how to go with it. ;)

    The contrast of rich greens and crisp whites is so lovely. Seems like every girl's dream is to have a 4 poster bed with curtains LOL.

    Make sure you do go check out Urban Barn. It's amazing and really affordable. I decorated my entire apartment with their stuff and ppl always ask me about it. It's not like IKEA where everyone can instantly recognize where you bought things.
